Good Free Dating Sites
Jun 27 2008, 6:04 PM EDT
You have some on the list that aren't even dating sites anymore like DatingFaces and you've included site like Facebook and Friendster that are more social networking and not exclusive dating properties. AOL Personals is powered by Match.com so that shouldn't be on the list either. Singles.com and U-Singles.com are part of the relationship network (white labels) and shouldn't be listed either. Some of the other good free dating websites are missing like Meeta.com, Datehookup and Justsayhi. This is a good start but the list looks a little out dated. Matchmaker.com is also the same as Date.com with a different skin but same database. Udate.com should be on the list still since they never merged with Match.com and are more UK focused like DatingDirect.com which is now owned by Meetic which is one of the largest dating sites in the world and not on this list. If you were going by popularity I would have the top 5 list more like this: Match.com eHarmony.com PlentyofFish.com Yahoo! Personals OK Cupid Pretty good research though. -Nostalgia B 3 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

There are a variety of dating websites available to both general and specialist groups. But I recently came across a site called http://meet2go.com it's all free, has a bunch of nice people on and u can attend fun activities and there's a nice chatroom... I had some great time meeting new friends and dates.... and am much happy now :) Hope you find this helpful. Chat rooms don't occur on all dating websites but we see them as very useful for new daters and socialites who love to chat to many people at once. It is a good way of getting your typing and chat skills on top form. All the BestDo you find this valuable? |

I think the only Good REALLY FREE one on your list is PlentyOfFish!! I didn't see the first list, but, I KNOW these are FREE :: Book of Matches and MatchDoctor and the UK site: theDateHub.com So many sites advertise that they are free, when in REALITY, what they offer, is for you to POST a profile, Sometimes serch the profiles. But you can not email to or respond to anyone without PAYING for something. The ones I listed are ALL totally free. To me, if someone advertises as free, they should say free; or they should advertise as Free to Post and Search only! That's ethics. But. they slink through the adv. 4 out of 4 found this valuable.
