The summer before we were both head off to college, my boyfriend definately tried the "don't mention it" technique. He stopped returning my calls, stopped calling me to hang out, everything. He said he wanted to "remain friends" but he didnt want to be tied down in college so he wanted to see if everything could just "fade away"...I said he should have grown a pair and told me what was going on instead of pretending like nothing ever happened. Bad technique to say the least.

Listen, it doesn't change when you grow older either. My boyfriend did the same thing. Six months later and he disappeared!!! I am so tired of immature men. If you sleep with them they have power over you!
