Dating Profiles
Creating effective dating profiles can be tricky, and there are some great examples to follow out there, as well as some horrible duds. What do you think is vital in creating an effective dating profile? Share your thoughts by clicking "EasyEdit."
DO:
- Post a recent, flattering photo.
- Create a unique, intriguing screenname.
- Create a friendly bio or profile
- Be clear about your wants
DON'T:
- Give too much personal information (phone, address, etc.)
- Embellish or fib. Just state the facts. Embellishing has no benefits; the truth will emerge when the two of you meet, so if you say you're thin as a rail, and in reality you're a few pounds overweight, well, the truth will be obvious. Plus, the person will have difficulty trusting you because of the fib.
