I've been online with a couple of dating sites for 10 months now. I had much to learn and it is a continuing learning experience. The first lesson to learn is that person will be the same person you chatted with online. The next is when the ex-spouse gets into the conversation. That is when it goes from date to "client-therapist" and you become friends. OK, I could write a novel here so I'll get to my lasr revealation; who are you attracting with your profile? My marriage was to a woman who suffers from a lot of childhood trauma and manifested itself into borderline personality disorder. I married my friend when she married her "daddy: It is so important that you put together a profile that targets the type of person you desire. It's time; a new profile, better pictures and a description of what won't work. The idea, attract the self-confident ones and send away the insecure ones. I will do it right this time and do not want to my next one to be in that 69% of 2nd marriages that fail.

Well, the reason these guys are listed here is because they "PAID" to be on this list, plain and simple. I personally found DaZoogle.com a Dating site that is free and has every feature you can think of. They give you free blogs, chat, community stuff, it's very cool. I've tried many others and I like this one the best so far. That's my $.02

Check them out at www.dazoogle.com " I don't know why you'd think that, but that's not true. No one has paid to be on this list. If they have, I'd like to know where the money is because it's certainly not in my pockets, even though I've been the primary person adding sites to this list. If you read through the comments and replies, you'll see that I take most site suggestions into consideration, and usually add most of them to the list. When we started the list we aimed for 100 dating sites, then changed it to 50, but we're building the list up to (hopefully) 100, so we keep adding more and more until we reach 100. Having said that, we will look into DaZoogle and consider adding it to our list. Again, at no cost. (Unless, of course, you want to send a check to Wetpaint.)

The dating sites list isn't just 50 websites, there is so many quality sites as sexychill.com ( i think this one is new but so many people write about it and i personaly like it ) and why isn't facebook in here or itsn't a dating site?

What a pity! Why don't you list site for quality singles like millionairematch.com? There are a lot of attractive men and gorgeous girls. I assure this site is much better than many of the sites you listed above.

Hi, I personally have not used the online dating site - no patience and no time to spend chatting... but friends of mine have - one met her husband on Lavalife and the other on singlesc.com and both couples have been married happily for over 3 years now (separately)

I agree, I found quite a few singles groups in Los Angeles on http://www.singlesonthego.com/la/ I sent the site to a friend of mine in New York City and she checked out their NYC site http://www.singlesonthego.com/nyc/ She found some cool wine tasting groups and some really unique groups such as Moxie in the City.

Craigslist has a huge number of potential people to date. Was there a reason it was omitted? It's free and I think you have an equal chance to find a dating connection here as with the paid sites. Craigslist.org is in every city across the world!
